Beauty bay magic book palette6/5/2023 ![]() I couldn’t find a dupe for the orange shimmer, Kurla, though. Of course there are only so many greens out there but it’s nice to have a cheaper and more accessible (depending on where you are) alternative if you’re interested in these shades. It’s close to Bperfect’s Antidote and Kaleidos’ Sci-Fi green palettes. It dupes Melt Smoke Sessions and the original Gemini palette. If you follow tinksbeautydiary on Instagram, you can see their swatches. So the Earthy palette kind of does it all. They’re thinner when swatched with a finger but emollient when a flat brush is used so it can move the product around. They’re very high shine, high sparkle, no fallout. The closest in formula and finish I can compare them to is Huda’s shadows from the Mercury Retrograde palette except slightly thicker. The shimmers are the new Beauty Bay formula. Row 1&2 Row 3&4 Shimmers under low lights Swatches are done over Makeup revolution Cut crease primer, two swipes each. Likewise, if you have the Book of Magic, skip the Midnight series. If you have Wilderness, you should skip this series. I’ve seen posts comparing the Wilderness palette and there’s so many similarities and dupes. I’m not sure why they can’t just re-release them but these are nice enough. ![]() ![]() These launches are directly inspired by past limited edition palettes.
